Prerequisites: Admittance requirements for PhD studies at LiTH

Organisation: Seminars, programming project

Contents: Numerical software, developing software, efficiency in time and memory, tools, design examples, algorithms and their object-oriented implementation.

Literature: S. Oliveira, D. Stewart, Writing Scientific Software, Cambridge University Press, 2006. Journal articles and book chapters

Examination: Seminar presentations, programming project (preferably part of the student's research)

Doktorand points: 2 for activ participation in the seminars, 2 for the programming project.
